Diet as source of well-being
Genetically speaking, our bodies are still almost the same as our Cro-Magnon ancestors. It is not designed to metabolize our current menus. From 80% , our diet is heavily loaded with processed foods, rich in synthetic and chemical agents, saturated fat, empty calories, that is to say, poor in essentialnutrients and deficient in omega 3. However, it submerges us in sugar and omega 6 (initiators of inflammatory processes in our bodies) that are both promoters of major diseases in our civilization: diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases and cancers. To function properly, our cells need to be well supplied with essential nutrients (vitamins, fiber, minerals, trace elements, etc..) And especially to benefit from a measured and balanced daily intake of omega 6 and omega 3. This means valuing vegetables, greens, fruits, a little animal protein (meat, eggs).
Losing your belly
One characteristic of the modern man is ... his big belly! For those who are active in the gym, the cause is a bad understanding of the role and architecture of different muscles that make up the abdominals.
In most cases one of these muscles is worked, the "rectus abdominis". This is the most superficial of them, one that draws the famous "6 packs". One of its functions is to bring closer the sternum and the pubis, and it is precisely on that one most most exercises are insisting on, like crunches. But if it is required in some sports to have a great ability to shorten the muscle hard and fast (when serving in tennis, volleyball playing, etc... ), it is much more questionable in the majority of us. It can even be harmful.
In my method, exercises available to you respect your physiology and their roles of your muscles in everyday life, meaning the stabilization of posture.
Some sports such as cycling and running are also good ways to fight against the "big belly". And do not hesitate to practice belly breathing exercises when you can, this is an excellent way to strengthen the muscles while relaxing!
It is obvious that without a good nutritional balance results will be much less remarkable!
Relaxing when you want
You were relaxed when you came back from your last vacation, remain relaxed now! How? Enjoy an express meditation. Fifteen minutes is enough.
In a however small, but quiet place, sitting on a cushion back straight, cross-legged, hands resting on knees let your eyes be fixed at 2 meters from you. Rest inside your body. Feel it. Concentrate on breathing and let go all thoughts that may arise. Breathe again and again and listen to the sounds around you as if it was a symphony. The aim is to welcome all that happens, all you feel even if it is a pain. For fifteen minutes or an hour just enjoy the experience without doing anything else.
